Delhi Daredevils registered their first win of the IPL4, when they chased 187 runs and won the match by 3 wickets with 4 balls remaining against top team Sahara Pune Warriors on Sunday, 17th April, 2011 at Navi Mumbai. SPW made 187/5 in20 overs and DD made 190/7 in 19.2 overs.

Jesse Ryder started well for Sahara Pune Warriors with 60 runs off just 27 balls with 5 fours and 5 sixes, and then Yuvraj Singh hit 66 runs off 32 balls with 4 fours and 5 sixes to set a huge total. Delhi Daredevils then got the best start of the season with 76 runs in 7 overs by Warner 46 runs and Sehwag 37 runs. But Venugopal Rao 31 off 20 balls, Finch 25 off 12 balls and Hopes 13 runs in just 4 balls to seal a thrilling win.

Defending champions Chennai Super Kings beat neighbor Royal Challengers Bangalore by 21 runs in a high scoring 14th match of 2011 IPL 4, on Saturday, 16th April, 2011 at Chennai. CSK made 183/5 in 20 overs and RCBmade 162/7 in 20 overs.


Michael Hussey returns with a bang by hitting unbeaten 83 runs off 56 balls with 11 fours and a six and helps Chennai Super Kings posted a big total of 183/5 as M Vijay also contributed with 31 runs. Royal Challengers Bangalore then never came back by first ball lost of Dilshan and even though de Villiers 64 off 44 balls and Kohli 35 runs tried hard but they were never in the match.

Even with the return of Shane Watson, Rajasthan Royals opened with Paunikar & Dravid 35 runs and were 78/1 in 11 overs and then Yusuf Pathan took 2 wickets in the same over. SPW v KTK 2011 IPL 10th Match Result - Pune beat Kochi by 4 wickets

In an another thrilling 10th match of 2011 IPL 4, between 2 new teams,Sahara Pune Warriors beat Kochi Tuskers Kerala by 4 wickets with 7 balls remaining on Wednesday, 13th April, 2011 at New Mumbai. KTK made 148/8 in 20 overs and SPW made 151/6 in 18.5 overs.


Kochi Tuskers Kerala lost McCullum without any runs and then Laxman on 11 and reduced to 24/4 in 5 overs. Hodge 39 and Jadeja 47 runs then fight back with 80 runs and Gomez hit 26 runs in the end to set a fighting total of 148/8.


Sahara Pune Warriors were on track until Yuvraj got out on 73/4 in 11.2 overs but Uthappa hit 13 balls 31 runs and put them back in the match and they needed 14 runs in last 12 balls and Mohnish Mishra hit 16 runs off Muralitharan's over t seal the victory.

4th edition of the Indian Premier League - IPL4 lived up to its expectations as started with a great thrilling mach in which defending champion Chennai Super Kings beat Kolkata Knight Riders in the last ball thriller by just 2 runsin the opening game on Friday, 8th April, 2011 at Chepauk.

Chennai managed 153/4 in 20 overs, got a good start thanks to opener Anirudha who hit 55 balls 64 runs and were 80-1 in 10 overs but managed only 153 runs as Iqbal Abdullah bowled brilliantly took 1 wicket for 26 runs. Kolkata also got good start with 64 runs opening partnership in 9 overs by Bisla 27 and Kallis 54 runs off 42 balls and were 112-2 in 15 overs but lost few quick wickets and needed 9 runs off last 6 balls but felt short by 2 runs, bowled by Southee.
